tired..just got back from work..i'm glad its the weekend!

had a good week..considering it was the first week of the uni semester..music classes this sem seem hard :( lots of aural and sight reading and i'm taking the classes with all these people who seem to know exactly what's going on all the time..but i think these arts people are pretty funky..they're really not afraid to dress the way they want to and they don't care what others think of them..

oh and i had to spend $120 on this one music theory book that we apparantly HAVE to buy..actually there are THREE books that we have to buy..but i figure i'll see how things go and see if i can survive with photocopying off tida's books..she was really sweet..offering to lend me her books whenever i needed them. but i guess that could get tricky sometime. i just don't understand why books are so expensive here. hahah my classmate was saying that its not so bad..they can still use the music theory books after this course..so its like buying the book for 3 years for him. but then i said i was just taking music for the next 6 months and he had nothing positive to say. aay i just hope i made the right choice by choosing this module again..

feel like taking a nap now..i think the lack of sleep has been affecting my brain..i've done a few silly things in the last few days..like the time i went to visit fen and mythili at IH..hahah i said bye to them at their rooms and assured them i'd have no problems finding my way to the main door..well i didn't..but when i got to the main door i somehow couldn't open the door..instead i very stupidly pushed open the door next to the main door with the huge painted sign saying "ONLY OPEN IN CASE OF EMERGENCY" and then suddenly there were alarms ringing in the whole building..haai. and then the next day i told mythili what had happened and she showed me how to open the door - just by pressing down on the door handle? hahah i think i tried doing that that night but it just refused to open? i don't know..i honestly can't remember..hahah mythili laughed herself silly at me..

and then today i was gonna take out the trash..i tied up the 2 garbage bags in the kitchen and went out..walked to the garbage chute..and then when i tossed them into the bin i realised i only had ONE bag with me! the other had mysteriously disappeared along the way..haha i retraced my steps but couldn't see it along the way..didn't want to be late for work so i cut my investigation short..haha only when i got home i saw the one bag under the dining table..but i honestly have no memory of me leaving it there..what is happening to me man.
