i really should be working on my assignment now..instead i'm spending my time blogging and facebooking and checking emails..haha i've been wasting more time on facebook lately..thanks to a certain someone..you la. hahah all that vampire and mob boss nonsense :)

sleeepy..and cold :( i don't like winter! i miss all-year-round warm singapore weather at times like these..i'm huddled up next to my heater right now with a glass of hot tea and trying to get some work done..but can't seem to concentrate somehow..fleeting things keep going through my mind - my sister arriving here on wed :) ; parents coming next monday; music assignment due soon :( ; that weird dream i had the other night.

haha i dreamt that i was performing on stage..it was a percussion ensemble of some sort cos pat and steve were there..and jing jing too for some weird reason! haha i was at my drumset and halfway through the song the drumset suddenly just fell apart into pieces..but pat and steve kept telling me to continue playing..haha and then pat just suddenly shouted "DAMN WAGNER!" i think this is reminiscent of this really really slow piece by richard wagner. its one of those pieces where we have to count throughout the whole boring song cos we're only playing like a few notes near the end of the piece. haha so now everytime we practice it pat goes "damn wagner".

okie enough procrasinating..back to work!

munching on banana cookies now..hahah although they taste abit more like flat little round banana cakes now...think they had more cookie-like consistency when they first came out of the oven..haha i've inadvertently been on a banana craze of late..made banana bread last week..then banana cookies this week..but its really just because my bananas were getting over-ripe and i didn't want to waste them! haha i suppose i could have just eaten the bananas..but oh well. :)

things around the house seem to be breaking down this week..first it was the kitchen lights, then our leaky shower head. haha i guess we should have fixed our lights awhile ago..we started off with 4 lights..then 2 went out..then 1 more a week ago..so we were left with 1 working light.then yesterday i finally got around to getting new light bulbs! unfortunately i think i messed up with the voltage or something :( cos the lights were nice and bright for about an hour after i had changed them..then they ALL went POOF. sorry LM and gloria :( so now our kitchen is in eternal darkness and i really should go and get the correct bulbs. as for the leaky shower..our cheapskate shower head which we replaced just awhile ago got leaky again..such a waste of water. haha but i think i found a makeshift solution..we'll see how it goes:)

time to do some work! blah.
