hahah this patient was so cheeky. i'm enjoying geriatrics much to my surprise:) not that i had anything against it..just that i didn't really think i'd be that interested in it..but ya its been good:) haha i can say i'm even enjoying being grilled on medications by my scary tutor..

huh.its now week 7..getting scared :( i really really just want to pass please. in the midst of assignments and exam preparation..i realise i've neglected lent and the coming easter this year..well..maybe not neglected per say..but i guess i haven't been thinking about the significance of the period as much as i would like to this year :( but..its not too late! its still lent. shall try to be more attentive to His word this next week.

this last week has sort of thrown me off balance..both good and bad stuff happened..bad stuff which i'm trying hard to put out of mind for now. haaii. but..as i said, good stuff happened too:) guess the bad stuff just makes us appreciate the good even more:)

i'm just thinking...there was this patient today...he was found wandering around in the park with a fracture..confused and homeless and drunk. i later found out he turned to alcohol after his wife and only child were killed in a car accident many years before..and he was the driver :( it really just makes the "bad stuff" in my life seem insignificant in comparison. but why do these things have to happen..its just so sad :(
