It's wednesday night & I'm once again over at my sister's :) It's been a heck of a fun weeek & I realise I'm going back in 3 days. But ohwell, considering I didn't plan to come back at all in the first place, it's been a really really great couple of weeks :)

I'm really tanned now, a result of a day spent at sentosa playing volleyball & a day spent at the birdpark. Haha yes I actually went to Jurong bird park today. Seems like a really touristy thing to do but I got free admission in so it would have been a waste not to go..and it really is pretty nice now! It's alot bigger than it looks from the outside and I never realised how many colours and shapes birds come in..and my now favourite birds are lories (haha I never heard of them before today)..they're colourful, fast & really sociable :) there was an entire enclosed walk-in aviary dedicated to them alone..and instead of exhibiting normal bird-like cowardly behaviour, the lories actually fly towards you & they don't seem the least bit afraid if you approach them :) heh so friendly:) oh and I had no idea how big ostriches really are..they look kind of dumb though.

and I finally visited smu yesterday..feels alot more like a shopping arcade than a school though..lots of long air-conditioned corridors and even a maybelling shop! are they promoting use of makeup at uni or what? anyway it was great to see you yesterday nadine :)

hope I don't start to peel. I sort of forgot to apply sunblock lotion at sentosa, cos it was gray, hazy and drizzly in the morning..but thankfully the rain clouds disappeared later in the morning..heh volleyball was really fun! sentosa's undergone alot of changes as well since I was last there..& I always enjoy volleyball with the guys :)

haha my sister was just in here fussing with my bedsheets..she always gives me royal treatment here..adding little touches like tealights in the bathroom and even chocolates on my pillow! heh:) anyway I'm off to bathe now:)
