Happy birthday dear!!:):)

Haha right now I'm slacking in the air conditioning. Chris is snoring away on the couch, my sister's looking at me lazily from her position on the mattress on the floor, and buster's lying on his back on the floor like a brown furry log. Ah I missed these lazy sunday afternoons:) A result of a busy week and too much food. Its been a nice week:) My highlights of the week off the top of my head..

Birthday dinner for my sister on friday night:) It was nice being able to be home for her birthday this year:) probably won't be back at this time of the year for other years..but glad that she looked happy:) and its exciting to think that this time next year we'll be celebrating with a new addition to the family:) Somehow birthdays seem to lose their importance as the years go by..I guess to my parents birthdays just mean that another year of their life is gone. Birthdays are only special if we make them out to be special I suppose:) Otherwise they'll just be like any other ordinary day..
I think this picture captures the spirit of the moment well:) I have no idea what Chris was trying to do though. Just his usual silly self:)

Met cindy yesterday!it wasn't for long but it felt great talking to her as if I had never left. I remember cindy and xinli coming over to my house just before I left for sydney in july..they were sampling the chocolates that I had bought them from sydney:)and eating durian puffs. and biscuits. :) Happy belated birthday cindy:)

Suki dinner with pips!Haha you're a lot more knowledgeable about jap food now compared to the last time we ate at sakae:) thanks for always being there to listen to my complaints and laments:) good luck and study hard k:) I'll see ya in another 2 months:)

Sat evening mass was nice:) the creston chapel is small and cosy but I miss singing in a big congregation and the feeling of familiarity at St Iggy's:) Ha and something nice happened on the way to church as well..I was on the bus and this nice old lady started a conversation with me..she was a retired nursing sister and was telling me how she used to train NUS med students..she told me a bit about the hospital working environment in singapore:)She was really a sweet old lady:) Lionel says I look sportier since coming back this time. Haha I wish:) I miss swimming:) and music.

Sometimes I wonder if I do the things I do because I'm afraid of God or if I want to. I remember Selena telling me before that its only natural to be afraid of God. Did you know "religion" means fear of God in hebrew? But how is it possible to fear and love God at the same time?

Sorry if my post seems kinda disjointed today..I'm feeling pretty lazy and sleepy..think I ate too much. My mom commented that I'm like a vacuum cleaner, cleaning off all the junk in the house. good day people:)
