Hello!today’s a public holiday..the queen’s birthday:)long live the queen:)

Anyway, been spending most of the week on my assignment..finally gotten most of it done, just got some last little details to fix up on then I’ll be done:)whew. Its been an especially gruelling week..nothing particularly exciting happening, but just really long days at school..lemme try to recap..

Monday: morning lectures, interview with diabetes patient for project, clinical session--in which our annoying tutor showed up half an hour late. But we spent the time waiting around for him playing cards and complaining about our slack tutor, which was pretty fun:) the year 2s in my clinical group are pretty nice and funny:) I quote gerard: "the loser of the next game has to ask the tutor what facial moisturiser he uses." (the topic for that day’s clinical session was skin lesions)

Tuesday: morning lectures, acute inflammation prac, scenario group session

Wednesday: morning lectures, communication tutorial—where we have to do this role playing thing where we each pretend we’re diagnosed with chronic illnesses. I have diabetes for the next 2 weeks.

Thursday: lectures, TWO 2-hour science pracs, scenario group session. Honestly its annoying how the uni gives us nice free days, then suddenly pile 2 draining science pracs into one day. Bleah.

Friday: lectures, Inflammation tutorial—this was pretty inspiring:)the tutor clearly knew his stuff and he was showing us specimens of inflammed hearts and lungs.

Yep anyway that’s a recap of a normal week for me, since a lot of you ask me what my school life is like..oh and I watched "coach carter" on Friday night:)not the kind of movie I would normally choose to watch but I really enjoyed it in the end:)been watching quite a lot of movies since I came here:)but I guess its natural to be tempted by $3.50 movie tickets:)

Weibin: haha yep I’ll keep that in mind thanks:)yes australia is pretty..but still an element of home missing though..
Nicole: more stars in singapore?:)heh think the night sky here is still amazing though:)yes yes looking forward to seeing all of you when I get back in THREE WEEKS!!:)
