AAAHHH!!!end of hols already :(

But I really did have a good week of holidaying in sydney:) I remember feeling kind of sian at thebeginning of the hols but now I wish they could have just gone on forever..
Over the week, I went to the sydney aquarium , chinese gardens, botanical gardens, circular quay and paddy’s market..but the most memorable trip would have to be my day trip to hunter’s valley!:) we rented a car for the day and took turns to drive..I actually drove for awhile!I didn't want to initally but I decided it would be good experience..anyway I only drove along the quiet roads in the country regions:)there was nice scenary all along the way and everyone in the car was talkative and good company:)

Hunter's valley is about 2 plus hours away but it didn't feel too far away..weleft sydney at about 830 and got there at about 11..hunter's valley is well known for the vineyards and cheese factories..I'm not usually a wine person but I enjoyed tasting all the wines:)there were many cheap sweet and fruity wines..

haha we picked a good time of the year to go cos there just happened to be a chocolate fair in town!so we were sampling all the free chocolates..and the chocolates were pretty decently priced aswell!haha but I didn't buy any la.. I did eat a lot of free samples though:)we left hunter's valley at about 3...then drove on to newcastle..its a city just north of sydney..we got there just before it got dark..just in time to get a nice view of the coast:) it was so COLD there!!butreally nice view:) then we stayed at newcastle for a nice warm dinner and headed back to sydney!haha we reached sydney at about 9..then wanted to make the most of the car so we continued driving aroundsydney so went to a couple of lookout points and got a nice view of the city:)

It was a really good trip with enjoyable company:) it felt surreal to be attending class again today..and its weird cos the new course in UNSW is structured in such a way that the year ones are now having the same classes and lectures as the year 2s!so the lecture hall this morning was packed with about 500 plus students..I hope the tutorials won’t be weird..cos the year 2s obviously know more than we do..will see how things go..
