Yawn. I just got back from the church wedding rehearsal. It was cool, cos we got to practise walking down the aisle, and chris & gen had a mock exchange of wedding vows. The first time we rehearsed we were walking too slowly, and the wedding march ended before my sister was even halfway down the aisle. Benjamin, the little boy acting as ring-bearer, was so cute. He was really serious about his job, and was holding on to the little pillow (to put the rings on) very tightly. The little flower girls were the most enthusiastic. They were all decked out in their pretty white flower-girl dresses and they kept practising walking up and down, up and down the aisle the whole time.

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster ride. I've run into a lot of problems with my student visa, but also had many fun times this week with friends and family. I almost had to push back my flight this sunday, cos of delays in getting my new visa approved. But now stuff is more or less settled, so I can at least still leave on my original flight. I'll be going to Australia first on a tourist visa, then I'll convert it to a student visa once I get there. Sigh. It's gonna be a lot more troublesome to go through the whole application process in Sydney, but I don't have much choice at this late stage. Yeah so I've been pretty shagged running around trying to fix things with my visa, in addition to organising the seating plan for 500+ guests. But I've also had fun times this week.

It was, all in all, a fun day. Lionel came over for lunch then we went to town in the afternoon :) I feel bad sometimes lugging him around town and dragging him from shop-to-shop, but I must admit its nice to have him along on these shopping excursions to carry stuff for me. Haha sorry dear. He kept me company to the tailor's to collect the bridesmaids' dresses, which turned out looking nicer than I expected :)

Dinner last night with cn5a was great. I really appreciate all of them taking time out of their busy schedules on a school night to meet up with me:) It was nice listening to the familiar banter and talk amongst my old classmates again.

I'm really gonna miss home.
