hello people!!!!I finally got internet access at my college!They don't allow internet usage in rooms so I'm in the common room right now. Yep its now 11pm the night before the first day of school. Oh gosh I'm missing home so so much.

The people here at creston college (my residential college) have been really nice:) The orientation program has kept me busy with harbour cruises and picnics and outings to the beach/park. The beaches at Sydney have been really incredible. The best I've seen so far:) my college is about 15 minutes away from coogee beach, which has really white sand and blue waters. Very nice. Today, we drove down to the national park for a picnic, and the picnic spot overlooked the sea and cliffs and a wide expanse of beach. And UNSW is HUGE. The campus looks great and the atmosphere here is very lively. I haven't really gotten the chance to look at all the different activities and such, but I'll get down to it soon. I'm really loving Sydney so far, for the scenery and the environment, but I just miss home so so much.

And thanks to everyone who came down that night to send me off, namely the rgs girls, cn5a, and cindy and xinli:) I was so happy that night. I think I didn't cry cos it hadn't really hit me yet that I was truly leaving. It only came to me on friday night that I had really already left home.

I went for my first mass today at the Creston College chapel. The chapel is nice, very peaceful though small. It felt good going to mass as usual, like I was still back home.

I guess once school starts tmr, things will get busier and I'll have less time to think about home and all of you guys. Sorry for the short post but I better turn in soon if I don't wanna be a total zombie on the first day of school tmr. Take care everyone!I'll update more about school once the week starts!:)
