5 days to the wedding!6 days to departure day!

Haha its been a busy couple of days, but I'm getting more and more hyped up over the wedding:) Had a bridesmen/brideswomen dinner last night, where my sister's wedding co-ordinator, Dominique, was informing each of us on our tasks for the big day..I'm basically a slave to my sister that day, picking up everything after her and carrying her clothes and makeup. Dominique is really good at her job. She takes note of all the tiny details that never would have crossed my mind. Like bringing a water bottle for my sis (plus a straw so she doesn't ruin her makeup), feeding buster and the guinea pigs amidst the chaos of the tea ceremony, who's in whose car as we drive from church to chris's house. Whew. My sister's really lucky to have a friend like her :)

Spent this morning corresponding with UNSW and UTAS. There's still lotsa matters hanging which shall hopefully be confirmed soon. At least now I've been officially enrolled at UNSW.

We didn't make a big thing out of valentine's day this year..probably cos of the impending bigger events just around the corner..when it comes down to it, valentine's day is really just another day to me. Its supposed to be a day you let loved ones know how much you love and care for them. But I think everyday should be a day to let the ones you care about feel loved. And love can't completely be represented with one single gift on one single day. Don't get me wrong I'm totally not against the idea of valentine's day. It makes many people happy, which is good. I'm just saying valentine's day is not a day we save our love for each year, but more as a reminder to love each and every day :)

And I'm really touched by your gift dear thanks!:) Haha touched and amused. I'm very impressed with your erm creativity and artistic talent. :) I do think you need to work on your counting and rhythm though. Haha.

Speaking of touched, one of my mom's good friends whose known me since I was a little girl gave me an incredible going-away present..She's always been super nice to me but I really didn't expect her to give me anything..She came over for mahjong yesterday and imagine my surprise when I come down the stairs to see a brand-new piano keyboard waiting for me. It was just so generous of her. I feel bad cos it must not have been cheap. She said that she knew how much music meant to me(probably cos I'm often banging away on the piano when she's over for mahjong sessions) and now I have something to help me tide away the lonely times. Haha she also did mention that she originally thought there'd be nothing for me to do in tasmania. Anyway, it was just so thoughtful and sweet of her and I can't thank her enough. The keyboard is touch-sensitive, so it feels like a real piano, not like those dinky piano keyboards which generate no feelings whatsoever. Its great. I just hope I don't have any problems getting it to Australia. Probably have to check it in. And I hope my residential college doesn't have a problem with musical instruments.

Its sitting on my desk in front of me right now. It even has a foot pedal. :)

Happy valentine's day all!!
