I'm supposed to be packing now.

Been feeling very mixed these 2 days..nostalgic, lost, happy, sad..I spent the most of yesterday fixing an irritating problem with my student visa application. Hopefully thats all settled now. Went shopping with Lionel, Qi & Justin for my mom's birthday present the day before..Heh we spent quite a bit on something that I hope she'll like very much, but I wanted to give her something extra special this year..as a BIG thank you to what she's done for me (paying for my very expensive education and giving me moral support) and also cos of the past stressful year for her. Haha I remember someone once commented to me how my birthday also meant spending a lot of money, since I have to get both my mom and sister presents as well. Haha but I think its fun giving presents :) The slight hassle is just thinking of what to give.

Sigh. The thing about packing is that its giving me a reality check. Its really happening. I'm flying off in EXACTLY one month's time. 20 Feb 2005. I'm putting all my belongings into boxes to be brought halfway across the world. Sob.
