Saxy day

I had a great saxy day. Haha yes it was a wonderful day spent with 4 wonderful people; lynn, nolly, chee & debs. We were supposed to meet at 10am but unfortunately debs was the only one who was on time. Haha so sorry sis but its was the fault of the rainy weather that we all woke up late!yeah I woke up at 930 to the sound of rain against my window, then hurried to orchard..

We ended up having a nice long brunch at wisma macs..it was great seeing noelle again and so nice to catch up with everyone!:)Lynn was aussie girl today,dressed in a shirt she'd bought in aus and a billlabong skirt..poor debs had a sore throat & was croaking away (hey hope you feel better soon sis..take care and drink lotsa water k!don't eat too many strepsils!!)..chee was the latest to arrive as usual, breaking her own record by being 2 hours late!(haha but no matter it was nice seeing you too chee..just don't get too stressed with school stuff k)..and nolly was her usual corny, cheerful self..and I was so glad to hear how she's enjoying school in london!:)

After lunch, we trooped around orchard aimlessly for awhile..then debs and chee parted, leaving me,lynn and nolly to carry out some mindless shopping at topshop. Haha lynn was so excited cos she hadn't been to orchard in the longest time and was in dire need to spend some money..We saw a nice jacket at u2, where me and lynn schemed to buy it for noelle as a belated birthday/christmas present:)

Then lynn accompanied me to suntec where I had to see the optician for my new contact lenses for tasmania..after which we continued our shopping tour for lynn's jeans..saw a super nice but sadly super ex jacket at topshop..and lynn was trying to convince me to buy a digital camera for tasmania..sigh. Maybe..

I was surprised to look at my watch and find that it was close to 7pm!We'd been walking and talking and eating for almost 9 hours!Heh I'm really glad to have a friend like lynn. We can just tirelessly talk and shop the time away..I'm so glad to have gotten the chance to have known her so much better in RJ:)And I'm so glad to have all the saxes who adopted me into their section at RJ:)

Anyway, I got home and had a nice chat with my mom and younger sister during dinner..qi was telling us about her orientation at NJC for the week..sigh I can't believe its been 3 years since my orientation at RJ..and now RJ has been taken over by NUS high..so sad..

Haha oh and going to the optician today reminded me of a previous time I visited him..I was waiting outside for him to call me into his room for the eye check-up, and was testing my own eyesight by closing each eye and trying to read the signboard on the far wall of the room..and this guy sitting near the wall thought I was winking at him!He gave me this funny look and I turned to look in the other direction fast. So embarrassing.

Hmm its pretty late now but I don't know why I don't feel the least bit sleepy. I had a long day yesterday as well. I spent the day at Lionel's, where we played mindless stuff on his bro's ps2 and we watched lousy-quality dvds..I found both Alexander and Ocean's 12 to be pretty slow-moving and kinda boring..but it was a nice afternoon spent in Lionel's company all the same:)His mom cooked us a yummy dinner and I hung around for awhile to chat before he sent me home..

The last couple of days have been great. And I really thank God for my family and friends.
