My uncle came over for dinner tonight:)haha he came over specially to give my mom a HUGE torchlight that apparantly has e light power equivalent to a million candles. (it said that on the box but I seriously doubt it)Haha he said it was for emergency use like blackouts. It was so big it doesn't even run on batteries,but is rechargeable!Poor buster was a little freaked by it;he ran away when my uncle flashed the huge shiny light at him a few times:)My mom was very happy, with both the flashlight and that my uncle had scared buster. (She says she HATES buster)
Haha then we went on to talk about me studying chem engineering at nus..We got around to the subject of DNA and inheritance..haha I dunno why my mom always has the funniest concepts..for some reason she insists that bloodtypes of the children always come from the father..then when I asked her what I inherited from her she said immediately, "My nice complexion, my soft hair, my beautiful nose..." she would have went on forever if I hadn't interrupted her..my mom seriously doesn't act her age.
Haha but its good that she's still retained her childish side!I think being childish relieves her of the stress she has to face each day at the stockmarket.:)There are times when I think she's 5 instead of 50.Like when she's chasing buster around the dining room table,making funny faces at him or asking me to piggyback her about the room) Hope I'll still be childish when I'm 50 plus.
